Sophia Ploumaki

Sophia has extensive experience in group psychotherapy and organisational management.

Her work focuses on helping teams to develop their effectiveness and cohesiveness by drawing attention to psychological processes within groups. Sophia currently provides team training to a variety of public sector clients focusing predominantly on group dynamics and group relations.

Prior to her current role, Sophia worked in the field of linguistic research and electronic lexicography as a project manager and researcher. She is a regular book reviewer for the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy.

Sophia holds a BA in Psychology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Group Psychotherapy, and a Master’s Degree in Group Psychotherapy. She is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Organisational Consultancy Psychodynamic Approaches to Organisations. She is a fully registered UKCP and IAGP member.
