Sharon
Wright
Sharon is a highly experienced facilitator with particular expertise in
the fields of education, construction and building design.
From 2002 - 2004, Sharon was Managing Director of School Works, a not for
profit organisation which promotes user involvement in the school building
design process. She was also a member of the DfES Advisory Group on School
Building Design.
Before joining School Works, Sharon was a Fellow in Organisational Development
with the Office for Public Management. She began her career in the Civil
Service, spending 12 years in employment and education policy. Prior to
leaving she was with the DfES Standards and Effectiveness Unit where she
was responsible for school improvement issues and sharing good practice.
Sharon holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Geography from Queen’s University
Belfast; an MSc from the University of London; and is currently undertaking
a Doctorate in Education at King’s College, London.
